Postdoctoral positions
I welcome inquiries from postdoctoral researchers who are eager to collaborate on cutting-edge research in atmospheric science. I particularly seek individuals with a strong academic background in mathematics, physics, and atmospheric dynamics.
As a postdoc in my group, you will have the opportunity to lead independent projects while contributing to our broader research goals. I am particularly interested in working with researchers who bring innovative ideas, a high level of technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to the team.
If your interests align with our research themes and you are enthusiastic about advancing the frontiers of atmospheric science, please feel free to reach out. In your inquiry, I encourage you to include a brief description of your research experience, your goals, and how you envision contributing to our group.
Here are some links to fellowships and opportunities to join our group:

Graduate Students
I am always on the lookout for highly motivated graduate students with a strong background in mathematics and physics. My group’s research focuses on theoretical modeling and coding-intensive projects, so an enthusiasm for these approaches is essential.
Graduate school is a significant commitment, both intellectually and personally, and it’s important to think about whether it’s the right path to you. I am particularly interested in working with students who are passionate about advancing our understanding of atmospheric science and aspire to pursue academic or research-focused careers. My goal is to support students who are committed to contributing meaningfully to the field and who share a genuine drive for discovery and intellectual growth.
If this resonates with you and you are excited about the possibility of tackling challenging theoretical and computational problems, I encourage you to reach out. Please include a CV and a brief description of your academic background, research interests, and career goals. This helps ensure that we’re a good fit for one another and that your aspirations align with the opportunities in my group.
Undergraduate Students
Are you passionate about discovering new things and eager to dive into the world of research? I am always excited to work with highly motivated undergraduate students who are curious, creative, and ready to explore complex questions in atmospheric science.
No prior experience is necessary—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. The university offers several funding opportunities for undergraduate research (like this one), and I will support interested students to apply for those programs. Undergraduates in my group have previously collected rainfall to analyze its stable water isotope composition, or built an ionosonde to study space weather. There is plenty of room for exciting discoveries!
Joining our group means becoming part of a collaborative effort to tackle fascinating scientific problems. If you are enthusiastic about research and committed to pushing boundaries, please reach out! I would love to discuss potential projects and how we can work together to make exciting discoveries.
